Kristin Nolt Wingard
Since joining the Disneyland® Resort in April 2004, Kristin has focused her efforts on integrating communications, serving as an integral member of the Disneyland® Resort senior leadership team and the leadership team for Public Affairs within the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Division. She leads the development of proactive strategic communications plans to support Resort business objectives. Kristin also serves on the boards of the Orange County Business Council and CAPA (California Attraction & Parks Association). Prior to joining the Walt Disney Company, Kristin was the Senior Vice President of Marketing, Communications & Media Relations for the National Restaurant Association.In this role she oversaw all internal and external communications, messaging, marketing, design and brand strategies, speechwriting, and public affairs strategies for the trade group, which represents the nation’s 878,000 restaurants. She has also had extensive experience in the world of public affairs, holding such positions as Press Secretary, Campaign Manager and Legislative Assistant for former Delaware Governor and current Congressman Mike Castle. Kristin is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English-Journalism and Communications. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in Literature from American University. Kristin, her husband Larry Wingard, and son Jackson reside in Newport Beach. |

In the role of Senior Vice President of Public Affairs for the Disneyland® Resort, Kristin Nolt Wingard oversees the Government and Industry Relations, Community Relations, Executive Communications, Guest & Cast Communications and Media Relations departments. Kristin is responsible for creating and implementing effective public affairs strategies while enhancing relationships with the media, local and state government, industry associations and community organizations.
