Carl Henn, Sr.
As Director of Development he is in charge of all new construction and remodeling at the Beach Boardwalk, as well as additional company properties and the installation and development of new rides. He is actively involved with industry related organizations including; ASTM, DOSH, ICC and was recently appointed to the Board of CAPA. He works closely will all the local government agencies as well as the California Coastal Commission. He represents his company for all ADA issues and is part of the company profit sharing/401-K governing board. Carl grew up as a teenager in the Santa Cruz area and always enjoyed the fun at the Boardwalk. Being one who likes to figure things out, his position provides him with many opportunities for problem solving. "This industry gets into your blood. It is hard work but it is very fulfilling when you see people enjoying the Boardwalk and everything we have done to make it an attractive, fun and safe family environment. I am proud of our park." |

Carl Henn came to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk in 1976 as a Journeyman Carpenter with experience in all areas of construction. His responsibilities include the maintenance of all rides, buildings and grounds for the Santa Cruz Seaside Company, including the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and several hotels.
